The British Film Institute has always been about British film. Tommy designed a bold new identity concept which champions and celebrates British film at its core.
Extending throughout the brand. The concept utilizes refined letterforms to hold key visual information, this reinforces the BFI’s long term goal of archiving and preserving the British film timeline, to project into the hearts of audiences.
Taking the British Film Institutes identity further with editorial, was an opportunity to see how the logo can be deconstructed and still remain recognisable. Each item is designed to feel like its part of the BFI family.
